As the Covid-19 virus rapidly spreads across the globe, civil society has shut down in an attempt to "flatten the curve." In the United States, New York City has become ground-zero for the contagion. Under orders from Government officials, business has ground to a virtual halt while stock markets tank, health-care systems buckle and mankind "social distances."
